With a record of 6-2, the Riverside U12 Boys indoor team qualified for the Y-Zone Indoor Championship Game against 8-0 Blackhawk.  With two losses to Blackhawk during the regular season, Riverside was a clear underdog. 

Calvin Hughes and Ethan Hughes scored goals to secure a 2-0 lead while Goalie Sammy DeCaprio notched his 3rd "Clean Sheet" of the season to secure Riverside's Championship win!

This team worked hard all session to improve their defensive shape and build the attack from their poise and control at the back.  To top off this work, the final goal of the game came from a beautiful through pass and half field breakaway that Ethan Hughes calmly touched past the Blackhawk keeper.  The boys played their best game when it counted most.

Good job boys, congrats on a fantastic session.  You  should be proud!
